  • Springfield: Springfield, Missouri is a city of 151,580 located on the Springfield Plateau of the Ozarks.  This city is built on a flat plain with rolling hills and cliffs in every direction. Springfield is an older American city that was founded in 1830 and it has the architecture to reflect that. It is also widely recognized as the birthplace of the famous US Route 66. Springfield is not known for its visible LGBTQ celebrations and events but it does have quite a sizable community.
