I value my connections with the LGBT community and love doing business with the community that is closest to my own. Having lived in Boystown for years, I know the best places to live and the ones to avoid!

I left ‘corporate America’ to sell real estate because I LOVE going into other people’s homes! Seriously, a successful Realtor must have a wide-range of skills = the ability to serve client’s needs, anintimate knowledge of a desired area, a proven process, solid negotiation skills, a sense of urgency, problem solving expertise, creativity and these days more therapy than anything else. As a Realtor, it is critical to focus on, and become an expert in, each area that we serve. Why? If you want to know the buildings w/solid condo associations, ask me. What about pet friendly buildings? Ask me. Want lots of windows and private parking? Ask me. Which properties to avoid due to noise? Ask me. I’ve been in Chicago for 20 years and sell 30-40 properties a year, so I have SOME experience.

I am on the Ward zoning committee and read neighborhood newspapers so know all the real estate happenings and have managed to lead my office (20 or so Realtors) through the GREAT RECESSION. I’m happy to report we’re having a record year. For sellers—staging, high watt light bulbs, air freshener and cookies 🙂 But NO lockboxes. I show my listings so buyers understand the features, including the status of the association, and so that I can answer any question. During a showing, I’m on stage–I’m offering my ‘spin’, educating and getting excited about my client’s property–same as they were when they bought.

This business is very simple–good service, knowledge, passion and commitment. I have all those qualities and more. The best way to find out? Call me, ask me, quiz me and then you’ll know!
