Salt Lake City Gay Neighborhoods

Salt Lake City, Utah, is the largest city in the state with almost 200,000 residents. It’s the center of the larger Salt Lake City-Ogden-Provo Metro Area and serves as the capital of Utah. The city is perhaps best known as being the home of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but there’s much more to the city than just the church. It’s actually a very diverse location and even has a number of LGBT residents.

In fact, Salt Lake City actually has its own gay neighborhood known as the Avenues. This area is located in the northern part of the city and has a great number of older houses built around the 1900s. It’s a very welcoming area that’s close to Salt Lake City’s downtown district, so there are plenty of things to do that don’t require much travel time.

Condos can run anywhere from $155,000 to $4.8 million. Single-family homes range from $185,000 to $11 million.
