San Antonio Gay Neighborhoods
San Antonio, Texas, is known for its Riverwalk area and its amazing historical structures. Home of the Alamo, the Tower of the Americas, and more, people visit San Antonio simply to walk around and look at the city itself. Of course, there’s much more to do here, including many different museums, shopping areas, and entertainment venues such as Six Flags Fiesta Texas. San Antonio is also a great place to live. The city proper is home to almost 1.5 million people, while the San Antonio Metro area is almost twice that.
If you’re looking to move to San Antonio, you may be interested in the city’s gay districts. The first you might want to check out is Oakwell Farms. This area is a fairly quiet neighborhood with many families. It doesn’t have many condos, but single-family homes are quite abundant. They are usually priced between $330,000 and $800,000.
Midtown is also a good destination for LGBT singles and families. This historic area is home to most of the city’s gay bars and clubs. Condos here are usually priced between $235,000 and $275,000. Single-family homes also start in the same price range, but some of the larger and newer houses can be priced for as much as $1.8 million.
