Our Gay Realtor San Antonio agreed with the report below about the steadily increasing prices and rebust return of the San Antonio housing market.
September was another good month for greater San Antonio’s residential sector, according to the latest analysis by the San Antonio Board of Realtors (SABOR).
The median price of a home currently stands at $157,900 — up from a median of $152,500 as of September 2011 and $149,900 as of September 2010, SABOR reports.
Over the nine months ended September 30, 2012, a total of 15,175 homes in greater San Antonio have been sold — up from the total of 13,861 completed sales reported over the same nine months in 2011, SABOR states.
Spurring the health of the residential market — low interest rates, price stability and job growth.
“San Antonio has remained strong in these areas, especially when compared to other cities that are seeing declines,” observes Angela Shields, president and CEO of SABOR.
Year over year, home prices in San Antonio rose 3.8 percent between August 2011 and 2012.
