Flint Gay Neighborhoods

Flint is a large city in Michigan with a little over 100,000 people. It’s situated in what’s known as Mid Michigan, putting it in about the center of the lower part of the state. It’s the main city of the Flint Metro Area, which has over 425,000 residents. Flint began as primarily a lumber city before its economy shifted to automobiles. Today, Flint has undergone some gentrification, and a number of new businesses moved into the area, including the American Cast Iron Pipe Company.

Flint has many amazing buildings that were built during the 1920s. Its Victorian homes can often be purchased for fairly little and remodeled. The downtown area is full of great gay bars and is the true center of the city’s LGBT activities, although it’s not really a gay neighborhood. There isn’t one area where the city’s gay and lesbian residents tend to cluster.

Condos can be found for as little as $67,000 in Flint, although the more expensive ones may be priced around $330,000. Single family homes may be priced for as little as $25,000 or for as much as $878,000.
