Torrance is a beautiful, sunny, southern California city that is part of the greater Los Angeles area, but that is a city with much to offer in its own right. Many locals consider it a hidden gem in California because it has beautiful stretches of beach, plenty of opportunities for fun in the sunshine, and much to see and do. A Look at Torrance's History

In the early 1900s, the area that is now Torrance was part of a Spanish land grant. He expended great effort in helping the city to grow, and it did eventually become an important center of industry – and remains so to this day. It is also a city with a thriving arts and culture scene, a great deal of diversity, and plenty of opportunity for all who choose to call it home.
