Little Rock Gay Neighborhoods
Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, and it’s also the most populous. The city sits on the Arkansas River and takes its name from a rock formation on the southern bank of that river. As one of the major economic, cultural, and government centers in the state and in the southern U.S. as a whole, Little Rock is a draw for many people. The city features a number of cultural, recreational, and historic sites in addition to serving as the headquarters for a number of different corporations.
In 2012, Advocate.com listed Little Rock as the country’s 11th gayest city. One part of town that is particularly noted for its LGBT businesses and population is the River Market District. It’s part of East Little Rock and is considered a part of the downtown area.
Condos in this part of town are priced between $100,000 and $360,000. Single family homes are usually priced between $40,000 and $990,000.
