About Melissa

On a personal note, I have always been involved with the LGBTQIA+. I grew up with a big brother that I adored who was gay, during a time when being gay was feared due to the AIDs epidemic. Today, he remains my mentor, friend, and biggest champion - as I am his. I've surrounded myself with Diversity and Inclusion and it isn't uncommon to see me standing up for the community. I believe that we should all be treated with love and respect, and celebrated for our differences.

On to the professional stuff, after having a 20-year career in corporate America, buying trend fashion & teaching the art of selling, my family made the leap and moved to Utah from Washington State. We love living in Utah, with its four seasons, mountain landscape & myriad outdoor activities. We chose to live in the Daybreak community of South Jordan, where there are 500+ events a year, concerts in the park, pools, courts, parks & trails. They also boast many clubs, two of which I am involved with; Daybreaks Diversity and Inclusion and Heart-Attacks. With all the amenities & the community vibe, my son gets to enjoy an idyllic childhood.

In Real Estate, I am able to use my expertise in negotiation and my ability to listen to my clients needs. This is what sets me apart in finding the best property for their budget and/or getting them top dollar for their home. I get to share with my clients the love I have for Utah & its many quirks.

My family has relocated a lot, weve lived in FL, IL, and WA & now we are proud Utahans. Weve rented and owned a condo, townhome, single-family & new construction home. Ive personally lived all of it.
