About Melissa

As a mom of four, Melissa has been an Ally and advocate for her LGBTQ children for many years, supporting them through their teens into adulthood where she also loves and supports their spouses. As Broker-Owner, she has provided LGBTQ home buyers, sellers, and investors a place to feel they can really trust and feel comfortable with their REALTOR. She is dedicated to helping others and has a genuine commitment to serving all of her clients.

With over 15 years of experience in the real estate profession, Melissa is dedicated to helping others and has a genuine commitment to serving both clients and REALTORS. Melissa founded her brokerage in 2007. This boutique brokerage serves the North Dallas and Collin County communities and provides full service to home buyers, sellers, and investors.

Early in her career, Melissa earned her Certified Residential Specialist designation through the Residential Real Estate Council. This is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. She is also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, a certified e-PRO, Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource specialist, Texas Affordable Housing Specialist, and holds the At Home with Diversity designation.

Melissa believes professionalism in real estate is paramount. In 2015, she was licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) as a real estate instructor. She joined the Texas Association of Realtors Faculty later that same year. In 2020, she became the CEO of Agent Advantage Coaching and Training, and teaches real estate education to REALTORS across Texas. Melissa became a Certified Coach for Workman Success Systems in 2022, allowing her to impact the lives of REALTORS across the country.

In her efforts to build professionalism amongst REALTORS, Melissa has volunteered in leadership at all levels. She served as the 2018 President of the Board of Directors for the Collin County Association of Realtors, and has served on the Board of Directors for both Texas Realtors and also the National Association of Realtors. She has participated in various committees over the years, including the Chairwoman of the MLS/Technology Committee for Texas Realtors in 2022. Melissa was named the 2017 Realtor of the Year for Collin County.
