About Melissa

As a mom of four, Melissa has been an Ally and advocate for her LGBTQ children for many years, supporting them through their teens into adulthood where she also loves and supports their spouses. As Broker-Owner, she has provided LGBTQ home buyers, sellers, and investors a place to feel they can really trust and feel comfortable with their REALTOR. She is dedicated to helping others and has a genuine commitment to serving all of her clients. Melissa's brokerage serves the North Dallas and Collin County communities.

Melissa has been involved in the real estate profession for 15 years and she holds many higher-education designations and certifications. Additionally, she teaches other REALTORS and coaches/mentors others in their business. She was the 2018 President of the Board of Directors for the Collin County Association of REALTORS and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Texas REALTORS and also the National Association of REALTORS. She has been a member of the National Association for Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals for many years. Her passion is giving back and really caring about people.

Melissa earned her Certified Residential Specialist designation in 2007 through the Residential Real Estate Council. This is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field. She is also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute, a certified e-PRO, a Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource specialist, and Texas Affordable Housing Specialist. She also holds the At Home with Diversity designation. As a real estate instructor, she is approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) and she is part of the Texas REALTORS Faculty. Melissa was named the 2017 Realtor of the Year for Collin County.
