When you read all those letters after a Realtor's name, do you have any idea what they mean? They are important because they can tell you about the person's training, proven ability and commitment to professionalism. I work hard to stay at the 'top of my game' and I spend many days and dollars every year to continue my education to improve my service to you.
The following are designations that I have earned through the National Association of Realtors.
ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative. Indicates specialization in working with buyers and the unique challenges they face.
CRS - Council of Residential Specialists. Important, a 'master's degree' in residential real estate brokerage.
GRI - Graduate, Realtors Institute. First level of post-licensing education for Realtors.
CBR - Certified Buyer Representative. Specialization in buyer representation. (Massachusetts Association of Realtors)
Lynn and her husband Mark were terrific. Although my being gay didn't come up, as it was irrelevant, it was a true comfort to know I could be myself without fear of judgment or disfavor.
