Moving to Palm Springs, CA, as a widow, at the end of December 2017, was a life-long dream come true for he and his late husband. "We loved visiting Palm Springs 8 times in our 22 years together, and especially loved going to the Palm Springs Follies at the Plaza Theater". As a matter of fact, Charles has a special seat, at the refurbished Plaza Theater, with a plaque on it, honoring the memory of his late husband.
