As a result of a commitment and focus on customer service, João has managed to make a difference in a saturated market, where differentiation is almost non-existent and customer focus is often replaced by commission focus.
A great advocate of training as a means of achieving the level of professionalization necessary for the team’s value proposition, João is a member of NAR (Realtor) and is internationally certified as an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist).
This culture of excellence extends to the entire team, which works hard with the same objective: to achieve maximum levels of customer satisfaction.
With a significant part of his clients coming from the LGBTQ+ community, nationally and internationally, João and his team are proud to be a reference “in the celebration of diversity”. Homes for Everyone is the team’s motto.
The successive awards João has won over the years, with special emphasis on the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT career award (in 2020), and the choice by FORBES Portugal as one of the "10 Best Agents in Portugal" (in 2018), are the corollary of many years of hard but fulfilling work.
João is also committed to the local LGBTQ+ community, sponsoring many events (Lisbon Queer Film Festival, Lisbon's Pride Parade, Miss Drag Lisboa, Rainbow Awards), and acting as the current President of Variações - LGBTQ+ Commerce and Tourism Association of Portugal, responsible for bringing the Europride 2025 to Lisbon.
But, since always, João’s greatest reward has been the ability to make a difference in his clients’ lives and help them make their dreams come true. And in this way, João’s dreams have also been fulfilled: traveling and seeing the world, being a “father” of two cats, and enjoying his family and circle of friends.
