West Valley City, UT, Top LGBT Neighborhoods and Home Prices

West Valley City Gay Neighborhoods

West Valley City, Utah, may have only incorporated in 1980, but it quickly grew into a major suburb of Salt Lake City. With a population of almost 130,000, it’s the second-largest city in the state. Its economy is anchored by companies such as Discover, UPS, Verizon, and Walmart, plus it serves as the base city for CR England and USANA Health Sciences. Sports fans will be interested in attending Utah Grizzlies hockey games or going golfing at one of the several golf courses.

West Valley City does have a number of gay bars and LGBT-owned businesses and restaurants, but it doesn’t have much in the way of an actual gay neighborhood. Those thinking about moving to the area will still find it fairly welcoming, especially since Salt Lake City and the surrounding region actually has a higher percentage of LGBT residents than New York City does now.

You’ll find that condos in the city start at $80,000 and end at around $190,000. Single family homes tend to range from $50,000 to $400,000.
