Mexico isn’t just a country to the South of the U.S. It’s also a good sized town in Missouri, where it’s the host city for the Miss Missouri Pageant. According to legend, settlers in the area originally found an old sign pointing to the south that read “Mexico” on it. They decided to call the new settlement Mexico instead of taking the sign down.
Today, Mexico, MO, is a fairly diverse town. If you move into the Salt River addition, you’ll find yourself among a neighborhood full of many different people. Gay, straight, young, old, single, married…the new addition is full of diversity.
There are very few condos in this area of the city, but there are a good number of single family homes. They range from 105,000 to $400,000.
