Tucked away near the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, Rancho Cucamonga, California, is east of Los Angeles. This neighborhood has a long history of winemaking, and many settled in the area to grow grapes. Today, the city has landed on Money Magazine’s top 50 of the best places to live in the country, and its school system has ranked highly on the US News & World Report. It’s no wonder, then, that more than 160,000 people make their homes here.
There are some great places to live in Rancho Cucamonga. Its Haven View Estates neighborhood was listed #13 on Business Insider’s list of the Richest Neighborhoods in Southern California. Overall, though, the city is much more affordable than LA and some of the other nearby cities. It’s very welcoming, too, although there’s no true gay neighborhood.
Rancho Cucamonga condos are priced anywhere from $160,000 to $1.6 million. Single family homes, on the other hand, are priced anywhere from $90,000 to $1.9 million.
