About Mitch

I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University. After college, I spent several years in Retail Management, working for a big box store and a regional sporting good store. My entrepreneurial journey then led me to open a sandwich franchise in Petoskey, Michigan. After six successful years, including our busiest and best year, I sold the business in 2018 and transitioned into a career as a Real Estate Agent.
I have called Petoskey home for over 25 years. During that time, I’ve been fortunate to build lasting friendships and establish strong ties within the community. As a way of giving back, I’ve been actively involved in my township (Bear Creek) and currently serve on several local boards:
• Resort/Bear Creek Fire Department Administrative Board (19 years)
• Bear Creek Township Board of Review (3 years)
• Bear Creek Township Planning & Zoning Board (Chairman, 19 years)
Additionally, I serve as the Board President of Northern Community Mediation, a non-profit that provides mediation services for local courts, schools, and private parties (5 years).
Real estate feels like a natural extension of who I am. It allows me to work with amazing people—buyers, sellers, agents, —and help them through life-changing decisions. At this point in my career, I’m fortunate to be able to be selective in the number of clients I take on, ensuring I can focus on delivering the highest level of service. I pride myself on being meticulous and thorough in everything I do. Integrity and honesty are at the core of my values, both personally and professionally.
