About Richard

Richard grew up in a small north central Indiana town named Swayzee in Grant County. He has lived most of his adult life in Madison and Hamilton Counties. Richard is currently a proud resident of Hamilton County.

He brings to the table vast knowledge of the everchanging housing market and is known for quickly recognizing any shift in the central Indiana housing marketfrom small to seismic. Understanding, but more importantly getting ahead of, a market shift makes all the difference for clients listing or buying a home. Richard believes the key to a client finding and successfully buying her/his dream home is knowing how to write and present the right offer and for sellers, he knows the key is having the expertise to sort through offers to ensure his seller gets the best one; it must be done with precision, controlled speed and the ability to quickly adapt.

Richards background includes personal and educational lending + underwriting, a boots-on-the-ground deployment as a regional lending institution trainer and a passion and knack in marketing.

When Richard is not working, he enjoys traveling, watching movies and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. He is married with two grown kids. He also loves animals and certainly loves a busy household with three dogseach named after a favorite character in popular movies: Ruby Sue, an English Springer Spaniel, is named after a character in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Copper Todd, the oldest of his two miniature Dachshunds, is named after two characters in Disneys The Fox and the Hound. The newest member of Richards family is Petey Redford, the second of his hounds, whose name is inspired by the spotted-eye dog in The Little Rascals.

Richard believes at his core every person deserves respectno exceptions. He proudly represents home buyers and sellers in central Indiana.
