Tacoma Gay Neighborhoods
Situated on Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington is a city of almost 200,000 people and is the business center of the South Sound region. Tacoma served as the Western end of the Northern Pacific Railroad, and during the 19th century, the city grew by leaps and bounds by providing the location of where “rails meet sails” (the city motto). In recent times, a number of neighborhoods have undergone revitalization, including the downtown district.
