Eugene Gay Neighborhoods

One of the most beautiful areas in Oregon is Eugene. This gorgeous city sits between a number of amazing vistas, including the Skinner Butte, the Spencer Butte, and the Coburgh Hills. This provides residents with many different opportunities to hike and cycle through gorgeous woods or go kayaking or rafting on nearby lakes and rivers.

When you’re not out enjoying nature, you’ll find Eugene has a growing arts community. The city features community arts projects, a Saturday Market that offers fresh vegetables, and many different cultural events. The Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival is held every August and brings in many LGBTQ visitors to the city.

While the city doesn’t have a gay neighborhood, its focus on the arts and reputation as a hippie city means it’s quite welcoming. You’ll find many great homes here that are fairly affordable. Single-family homes can be found for as little as $130,000. For the larger properties, though, you can expect to pay upwards of $1.75 million. Condos typically range from $100,000 to $335,000 depending on the neighborhood.
