Santa Fe, NM Gay Neighborhoods
New Mexico’s capital city, Santa Fe, is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The city is known for its arts and culture and as a popular destination for retirement. Santa Fe also has a good sized LGBT population, too. In fact, some people say that there’s no real gay district—all of Santa Fe is incredibly gay friendly.
The city is fairly diverse and laid back. In fact, there aren’t really that many gay or lesbian bars in the city—there are just bars where everyone mixes. A gay and lesbian retirement community "Rainbow Village" opened in 2006. There are also a number of different LGBT-owned businesses.
Condos can cost anywhere from $80,000 to $2 million. Single-family homes, on the other hand, range from $75,000 to $13 million.
