Naperville LGBT Friendly Neighborhoods
Naperville, Illinois, is known as one of the best places to retire and as one of the wealthiest cities in the country. A suburb of Chicago, Naperville stands as the fifth largest city in the state. It’s home to a number of universities, a number of historic buildings, and the Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon, a 72-bell, bell tower.
Naperville is known for being an incredibly welcoming city. There are many LGBT residents of the city who live throughout Naperville. The city was one of the first in Illinois to pass anti-discrimination ordinances that include sexual orientation. While Naperville is a good-sized city, it has a small-town feel to it that many love.
There’s not really a gay neighborhood in Naperville—instead, the entire city is very open, and LGBT people will be comfortable wherever they live. Condos are priced anywhere from $75,000 to $550,000. Single family homes can cost from $136,000 to $4 million for some of the largest.
