Miami’s 2014 Top LGBT Neighborhoods and Home Prices

Miami Gay Neighborhoods

Miami, Florida, is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the United States.  In fact, several of its neighborhoods have been named to CNN’s most affordable LGBT places to live list.

One of these neighborhoods is Wilton Manors.  Technically its own city, Wilton Manors is very small and is considered a part of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach Metro area.  Condos in the area can range from small 1-beds for $50,000 to large, luxurious ones that cost almost $700,000.  Single family homes start at $89,000 and can be as much as $1 million.

Oakland Park is another city that’s a part of Miami, although it’s much larger than Wilton Manors.  It’s also around the same price range.  Single family homes range from $82,500 to $900,000.  Condos in the area are priced anywhere from $73,000 to $491,000.

Finally, there’s Shore Crest.  This neighborhood is located in the center of the Miami area, and it’s home to a number of restaurants and shops.  Of course, another one of its draws is that it’s only a few minutes from the beach!  Homes in Shore Crest range from $150,000 to $437,000.
