This huge gay community is located between the Las Olas, Intracoastal Waterway, Middle River and Federal Highway.  The area offers the high end shopping and five star restaurants of the posh Las Olas area and the sand and the lazy beach life of the famous Fort Lauderdale strip.  You can have this entire glamor while still living in a cozy residential neighborhood that is predominantly a tightly knit and well-organized gay community.

The Victoria Park area is also very pet-friendly and has many little dog parks. Every year it holds the Cause 4 Paws Pet Festival. The area is well kept up and has programs to report streetlights that are out and for making sure gardens are pest friendly.  This is a community with a lot of rules and a downside for some may be that it can be quite expensive to buy any type of property here.
