Orange Gay Neighborhoods
Orange, California, gives its name to Orange County even though it’s not the county seat. Many of the houses and buildings in Orange are fairly old, especially in the Old Town District. Many were built before 1920. While the rest of the Los Angeles area has slowly destroyed these older buildings and replaced them with modern ones, Orange has instead protected these historic structures.
Beyond having some amazing older homes you can purchase, you’ll also find that Orange is an incredibly diverse city. Some neighborhoods are predominately Hispanic, while others are home to good-sized Middle-Eastern communities. Orange doesn’t have a designated gay neighborhood, but that doesn’t mean LGBT people aren’t welcome here. Just the opposite, in fact, because Orange has such a diverse population.
Condos in Orange start at $285,000 and can range in price up to around $700,000. Single-family homes tend to run between $100,000 and $3.2 million.
