Originally from the middle Georgia area and fresh out of the U.S. Army, I moved to Savannah in 2001 in pursuit of a career in business after taking a management position with a well-known national organization. Since that time I have obtained my Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and have taken advantage of a number of opportunities in sales and sales management positions in the Savannah area, all of which have taught me a great deal and helped make me very successful.
One of my most rewarding positions was that of Director of Operations & Sales for a local Savannah niche marketing firm which provides a host of GLBT owned and GLBT friendly business and service directories across the Southeast. It wasn’t until I began working with them that I truly discovered what Savannah’s GLBT community really had to offer. I was fortunate enough to see first-hand how receptive and accepting Savannah business owners were to the idea of openly supporting and welcoming our GLBT community.
I love Savannah! It is the city where I met my partner of 12 years and the city where I intend to retire.
