I have received several great referrals this year, both listers and buyers, which led to successful closings. It's wonderful to receive a pre-screened referral, especially for a gay single or couple who are looking for a Realtor with whom they can relate! I have tried working with other such referral groups in the past; but the results were not nearly as rewarding. I have been associated with GayRealEstate.com for over 2 years as a referral agent for the Tampa Bay area, I receive a large number of leads from them. These leads are received immediately as soon as the buyer makes contact with them, a large percentage are good leads. Just as any internet referral program will attract all kinds of inquiries, good and bad, I have found this network to have the highest percentage of good qualified leads. I have tried other programs such as HomeGain and RealtyNow, but have found that they kept sending the same leads over and over, a high percentage did not want to be contacted by a Realtor, plus many of the leads were months old by the time I received them. I have found the reverse with HomeLounge / GayRealEstate . Since we are in a large relocation market, gays moving to this area want to be referred to a gay or Gay Friendly Realtor that knows the area. From time to time I have checked out the placement in the search engines for buyers looking for gay agents in our area. HomeLounge / GayRealEstate and its affiliates are consistently ranked one or two in our area. They seem to be capturing the majority of the leads. Steve Florida |
