Yes - The referral fee is very reasonable! We realize that many of the national companies are now charging upwards of 45% to 50% and we think this is unfair and excessive.
Why do I have to pay a monthly fee and a referral fee?
It’s a great question - the answer is simple. Our average PPC (Pay Per Click) costs to promote JUST our on-line companies and keep them in the top positions is $15,000.00+ per month. There is absolutely no sense in you joining a referral company that is not willing to spend the money necessary, to drive traffic to you, the agent. The monthly fee we collect, helps us guarantee you, that we remain in the TOP SEARCH POSITIONS.
Listen - I’m a broker and I understand the costs of doing business, I know a monthly fee and a 25% referral fee may seem high, but, my comment to you is this - most of the large National Relocation Companies have been charging a 35% referral fee for a few years now and there are some that charge up to 50%! I think it’s unfair and we keep our referral fee low to ensure you keep the most amount of money in your pocket, period. How about the company that wants to sell you a “zip code” for $500.00 to $1500.00 per month!
You also have other “gay“ REALTOR guides that are reasonably priced... BUT you can't find them anywhere! What good is a small monthly fee, if the company is nowhere to be found? These companies can't possibly compete with us, we SPEND 4 to 5 times their “total annual fees“ MONTHLY just on advertising! How do you keep track of the leads you send me?
The minute a client requests to work with you, our multiple platform referral system sends out a Referral "Update Request“ to you in approximately 3 days, to ensure you have communicated with the client, and receive feedback. The request will come in the form of an e-mail with a link you click on to fill out a form that takes about 30 seconds to complete. This update is reviewed (yes, by an actual person!) and programmed to send out the next Update Request according to your response. This process will continue until the client has a successful closing or is no longer active.
How long is my commitment?
Listings are paid in advance for 6 months and are automatically renewed, just like any other subscription every 6 months thereafter - you may cancel at any time prior to your automatic renewal dates. There are no credits and/or refunds.
How do I get referrals?
A potential client comes to any of our 875 websites searching for a Gay / Gay Friendly or Lesbian Real Estate Agent to buy or sell a home. On the main page they enter “city and state“ and a list of agents for that location is shown, the potential client reads through the agent bios (information you will provide when you sign up) and chooses the Real Estate Agent they wish to work with. The client then clicks on the “Contact this Agent“ button and fills out a brief form. Once the form has been submitted, our system automatically emails the client referral information to you and also sends you a text message notifying you a new referral has been emailed to you. At the same time the client receives all of your contact information so they can contact you directly if needed.
The National Association of REALTORS® has reported that potential buyers and sellers searching on the internet usually contact more than one agent and 90% of the time the client will work with the first agent that contacts them.
