When Fran saw a 2-page Baird & Warner Real Estate ad in a Chicago newspaper with 4 same-sex couples and the headline "At Its Best, Real Estate is a Family Business", she knew that B&W was the real estate company for her! B&W also provides partner benefits to their LGBT employees and includes LGBT issues in diversity training required of all new employees and sales associates.

Fran provides her sellers a room-by-room Home Sale Preparation Report and home staging assistance. Buyers relocating from outside the Chicago area who submit photos of their current home also receive a Home Sale Preparation Report. Fran's prior career in project management gives her the skills needed to manage a buying or selling transaction.

Since coming-out in college, Fran co-founded 2 LGBT organizations, edited 2 LGBT publications, and performed as an out lesbian standup comedian in several alternative and mainstream venues in the Midwest.
